Terms of Use

QuietLAN · iGears Technology Limited · August 25, 2026

These Terms govern use of QuietLAN applications and related QuietLAN pages provided by iGears Technology Limited / Mobpage.org. By using QuietLAN, you agree to these Terms and the QuietLAN Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use QuietLAN.

What QuietLAN provides

QuietLAN lets you view and control computers and supported devices you own on the same Wi-Fi or Ethernet network, without routing screen traffic through a QuietLAN internet relay. Features may differ by platform: iPhone and iPad are controllers; supported Android phones and tablets can host a user-started screen share; Chromebooks remain controllers; file transfer is currently available only between supported desktop editions.

Authorized use only

Use QuietLAN only with devices you own or are authorized to control. Do not use it to access another person’s computer, phone, or network without permission. Do not attempt to bypass private-address enforcement, pairing consent, host approval, or platform security prompts.

Local network only

QuietLAN accepts private addresses reachable through the current LAN and blocks public routes, cloud brokers, NAT traversal, and outside-network connections. It cannot provide remote access from outside your current local network.

Android Accessibility service

Optional QuietLAN remote control on Android is not an accessibility tool. When enabled by the device owner, it performs only the deterministic live gestures and text sent by a nearby viewer that the owner accepts. It does not autonomously initiate, plan, or execute actions.

Free edition, advertising, and Pro

The free edition supports one active LAN session and may display one clearly labelled native advertisement on Home while internet access is available and consent permits it. QuietLAN Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that removes ads and unlocks listed Pro tools for the purchasing store account. Family Sharing is not offered. Desktop MobPage licences are limited to one active device.

Purchases, restoration, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple, Google, or MobPage under their rules. Store pricing is shown before purchase.

Your content and devices

You are responsible for the devices you connect, the files you choose to transfer, and keeping pairing credentials private. Session traffic stays on or between your LAN devices. Do not use QuietLAN to violate law, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property rights, or another person’s rights.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the extent permitted by law, QuietLAN is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted remote control, complete input fidelity, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, iGears Technology Limited and Mobpage.org are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use QuietLAN.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The current version and date will remain posted at this URL. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
