This policy describes how QuietLAN handles information on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, and Linux. QuietLAN is a local-network remote desktop utility. There is no mandatory QuietLAN account. Android package and Apple bundle ID: org.mobpage.quietlan.
What MobPage does not receive
Screen content, remote input, clipboard text, transferred files or filenames, LAN topology, local IP addresses, nearby-device names, pairing keys, peer fingerprints, and on-device session history travel directly between your devices or stay on them. MobPage does not relay or store that session content.
QuietLAN accepts private addresses on your current Wi-Fi or Ethernet LAN and blocks public routes, cloud brokers, NAT traversal, and outside-network connections.
Information stored on your device
Settings, pairing records, purchase entitlement state, advertising-consent choices, and session history are stored in the app’s private on-device storage so QuietLAN can work on the LAN after pairing.
You can remove local QuietLAN data by clearing the app’s storage in system settings or by uninstalling QuietLAN.
Accounts
QuietLAN does not require a QuietLAN cloud account, public profile, or remote-access login. Store purchases belong to the Apple, Google, or MobPage account that bought them.
Permissions
- Local Network: used to discover and connect directly to nearby QuietLAN devices you choose.
- Screen Recording / screen capture: used on a host only after you start sharing and approve the system prompt.
- Accessibility (optional, Android host): QuietLAN remote control is not an accessibility tool. When you enable it, it performs only the live gestures and text sent by a nearby viewer you accept. It does not act autonomously and does not send Accessibility content to MobPage or advertising partners.
- Internet: used for ads, consent, and store purchases. LAN sessions continue when the internet uplink is disconnected.
Advertising and consent
The free edition may show one clearly labelled Google-served Native ad on Home only while internet access is available and the consent flow permits it. QuietLAN does not use interstitial, rewarded, app-open, or remote-session ads. When fully offline, QuietLAN makes no ad request, shows no cached ad, and reserves no empty ad space.
Where required, QuietLAN uses Google User Messaging Platform before Mobile Ads initialization and provides advertising privacy choices in Preferences. Google and its partners may process device or advertising identifiers, app-interaction data related to ads, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostics according to Google’s current SDK disclosure.
QuietLAN does not supply LAN topology, local addresses, nearby-device names, screen content, input, clipboard, files, pairing keys, or session history as advertising parameters. QuietLAN Pro does not initialize or request an ad.
Purchases
QuietLAN Pro is processed by the App Store, Google Play, or MobPage commerce for desktop editions. Payment details stay with the store. QuietLAN keeps the entitlement needed to remove ads and unlock Pro tools. Restore purchases through the same store account. Family Sharing is not offered.
Website and support
The mobpage.org website may receive standard server logs such as IP address, requested page, browser type, and time of request for security and delivery. Support email you send is used to respond to your request.
Children
QuietLAN is a general adult utility and is not directed to children. Do not select child-directed age groups in store settings.
Data deletion and your choices
Because QuietLAN does not create a cloud remote-access account, there is no MobPage session archive to delete. Clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local pairing and history. End a remote session from either device at any time. Use device advertising settings or in-app privacy choices where offered. Purchase-record questions can be sent through QuietLAN Support.
Changes
If QuietLAN later adds accounts, cloud relays, tracking, or new data collection, this policy will be updated before those features collect new data.
