Kid-mode On ("the app") is a parental-control kid launcher for Android. We built it so your child's experience stays on your device and under your PIN. This policy explains what data the app handles.
No account required
Kid-mode On works without sign-up or login. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number to use the app.
Data stored on your device
Your parent PIN, the list of apps you allow in kid mode, wallpaper choices, usage counters and other settings are stored locally on your Android device. We do not upload this information to our servers.
Kid mode itself has no social features, chat or external links. Your child sees only the apps you approve on a simplified home screen.
Works offline
The kid launcher works offline once configured. An internet connection is not required for your child to use approved apps inside kid mode.
Advertising (parent screens only)
The free version may show ads through Google AdMob on parent-facing screens only — never inside kid mode while your child is using the app. New users receive ten ad-free uses.
To serve ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier, IP address (which may estimate approximate location), app interactions and diagnostic data. Learn how Google uses data: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites .
In-app purchases
A one-time purchase (hk.ithkservice.kidlock.supportus) unlocks the full version: no ads, unlimited allowed apps and custom wallpapers. Purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Google handles the transaction.
What we do not collect
We do not sell personal information. We do not operate a cloud account for parents or children. We do not track your child's activity inside approved third-party apps — those apps have their own privacy policies.
Children
Kid-mode On is designed for parents to create a safer device experience for young children. The app is intended to be managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Data retention & deletion
Settings and preferences remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].
