Change Your Voice ("the app", also known as Voice FX) is a voice recorder and effects app. We built it so your recordings stay on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles.
Your recordings stay on your device
Every voice recording and processed audio file you create is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. We do not have an account system, and your audio is never uploaded to us or to any server. If you uninstall the app, your recordings are deleted with it. You can also delete individual recordings inside the app at any time, or share a file only when you choose through the iOS share sheet.
On-device voice processing
All voice effects — Male, Female, Cave, Karaoke, and Default — are applied on your device using local audio processing (AVFoundation). There is no server, no cloud processing, and no AI voice cloning. We never receive, store, or analyse your audio.
Advertising
The app may show ads through Google AdMob after several launches; new users begin with an ad-free experience. To serve ads, AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier and related usage data. On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission before personalised ads; the app works fully if you decline. A one-time "Remove Ads" purchase removes all ads permanently. In-app purchases
An optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by the Apple App Store (StoreKit). We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple handles the transaction. You can restore your purchase anytime from the Settings screen inside the app.
Permissions
Microphone access is requested only when you record your voice. The app does not read your contacts, location, photos library, or other personal data on your device.
Children
The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Data retention & deletion
Your recordings live on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. For any privacy request, contact us at [email protected].
