PrintLark is designed to turn printed text into speech while keeping the reading itself private. This policy explains how the PrintLark mobile apps and related PrintLark pages on mobpage.org handle information.
Information processed on your device
Camera frames, photos selected for reading, recognized text, reading history, language choice, accessibility settings, and speech preferences are processed or stored locally on your device. PrintLark does not require an account and does not send this reading content to Mobpage servers for optical character recognition.
You can delete individual saved readings in the app. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove locally stored readings and settings.
Speech and language data
PrintLark uses OCR language files packaged with the native app and text-to-speech voices supplied by your operating system or installed Android speech provider. Optional voice downloads and their data practices are controlled by that provider.
Advertising in the free native app
The free iOS and Android apps may request a limited native advertisement from Google AdMob after eligible completed readings. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, device and app information, advertising identifiers when permitted, consent choices, approximate location derived from network information, and ad impressions or interactions. The exact processing depends on your region, consent, device settings, our configuration, and Google's terms.
PrintLark does not send camera images, selected photos, or recognized text to AdMob.
Where required, PrintLark uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent and provide privacy choices before requesting advertising. Purchasing PrintLark Plus removes advertisements. The mobpage.org web app does not load the AdMob SDK.

Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. PrintLark receives product, transaction, and entitlement status needed to provide Plus, but does not receive your complete payment-card details. The store's privacy policy governs its payment processing.
Website
The mobpage.org website may receive standard server information such as IP address, requested page, browser type, and time of request for security and reliable delivery. Visiting the website is separate from the mobile app's local OCR processing.
Analytics
Version 1 of the native app does not include a separate analytics SDK. Aggregate purchase, stability, and advertising reports may be available through Apple, Google Play, and AdMob dashboards.
Permissions
- Camera: used only when you choose live reading.
- Photos: accessed through the system picker for images you select.
- Internet: used for ads, consent, purchases, and web resources. Native OCR and saved-reading playback do not require it.
- Microphone: not requested.
Children
PrintLark is not directed to children and is not submitted to child-focused store programs. If Mobpage later offers PrintLark to children or schools, it will review the advertising, consent, and data practices before doing so.
Your choices
You can deny camera access and use selected photos, delete saved readings, change advertising privacy choices when the option is available in Settings, purchase Plus to remove ads, or uninstall the app. System settings may provide additional advertising and privacy controls.
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights relating to personal information held by Mobpage. Because reading content remains local, Mobpage generally cannot retrieve that content. Requests about website, support, advertising, or purchase records can be made through the PrintLark support page.
Security and retention
PrintLark relies on operating-system app storage and transport security. Local readings remain until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Advertising, store, website, and support providers retain information according to their policies and our configured retention periods.
Changes
We may update this policy when PrintLark's features, providers, or legal requirements change. The current policy and effective date will remain posted at this URL.
