APK Manager ("the app") is a file-management utility that runs on your Android device. We do not operate any server, account system or backend, and we do not collect or transmit your personal information. The only third-party data processing comes from the advertising SDK described below.
Information the app accesses on your device
APK files in a folder you choose: using Android's Storage Access Framework, the app reads only the folder you explicitly grant. File contents are read on your device to display details, install, back up or share — and are never uploaded to us.
List of installed apps: used only on your device for backup and sharing, never uploaded to us.
Installing and uninstalling: performed by the Android system installer with your confirmation each time. The app never installs software silently or from the internet.
What we do not collect
None of the information above is collected by us, sent to us or stored off your device. There is no account, sign-in, analytics or backend.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows a banner ad using Google AdMob. To serve ads, the AdMob SDK may collect device and usage information — including your advertising ID, approximate location from IP address, and ad-interaction data — under Google's terms.
Where required, the app shows a consent form (Google UMP) before ads load. You can remove ads with the one-time "Remove ads" purchase. Learn more: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543 .
Purchases
The "Remove ads" purchase is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details — Google handles the transaction.
Permissions
Install unknown apps — only when you tap Install, via the system installer with your confirmation. Delete packages — to start a system-confirmed uninstall you request. Query installed apps — to list installed apps for backup and sharing. Internet, network state and advertising ID — used only by the AdMob SDK.
Children
APK Manager is a general-purpose utility intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Data retention and deletion
The app keeps no personal data on any server. Files in local cache stay on your device and can be cleared via Android app storage settings. For advertising data held by Google, use your device's ad settings.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and post the new version at the same URL.
